I just customized my motorcycle helmet to have EL wire on it, it is red colored and is just a constant red color. I‘ve been hearing that this could be illegal and want to check. Does anyone know if A. motorcyclists are considered a part of their vehicle or not? Or B. it is legal or illegal to put constant red light on a motorcycle helmet for riding after dark? thanks
I agree with rick29148. As long as the light in on the rear of the helmet, and is on all the time, and you have not mess with the integrity of the helmet, I can see no reason it would not be legal.
