Question:

Lightning Confusion: Trees attract lightening, so stay away from trees, but dont you attract it in the open?

They say not to stand under a tree because trees attract lightning. They attract lightning because they are taller than anything surrounding them.therefore instead you are supposed to stand in the open. But if you stand in the open, aren't you then the tallest thing which would then attract lightning?According to howstuffworks , lightening rods don't attract lightening, they just create an easy path for lightening to follow should it strike in the area. If lightening rods don't attract lightning, why do trees? What am i missing/where is my mistake in rationalization?

Answer:

Well, where are you? Nabraska? Mumbai? Melbourne? Singapore?
Warts can be contracted through the handling of raw meat. They are called butcher's warts. If you are handling food with warts on your hands, you should be wearing plastic or latex gloves. You should also have the warts taken care of as they can spread on your own body as well.
