Question:

Lightning effects on fixtures?

Occasionally, when we have lightning and/or a storm, our dining room ceiling fixture and the washer and dryer come on, even though they are turned off. What causes this poor electrical wiring? What can I do to rectify this?

Answer:

Guess I'm kind of late but oh well. Just earn up the money and ask her how you can prove yourself responsible. Do what she asks and viola! You have a nice new pellet gun.
Bargain for it. Walking the dog, washing the car, whatever. She's -your- mom, so you know better than I would what sort of arrangement might work on her. Not like you're going to manage $340 in tasks (and it'd have to be above the stuff you already do otherwise, of course) but it could show how much you appreciate it and how you're willing to put out extra effort. A lot of times it's the extra nudge for parents to decide in your favor. It never would've worked on my anti-gun mom, but it did for less expensive, non weapon things. (A lot of things went in that weapon category for her.)
many great shooters started out with air rifles. getting good at shooting airguns will make you a even better firearms shooter. the scope can be a leapers 3-9x40 ao mil dot scope on optics planet. the gun can be a pcp or some sorts you dont need to have a silencer
It emits these particles all the time, not just when it goes off. But: In general, external alpha radiation is not harmful since alpha particles are effectively shielded by a few centimeters of air, a piece of paper, or the thin layer of dead skin cells. Even touching an alpha source is usually not harmful, though many alpha sources also are accompanied by beta-emitting radio daughters, and alpha emission is also accompanied by gamma photon emission.
Mm.. I owned one before. Just tell her it is safe as long as you use it outside, it will not damage the house. Also just tell her you will be only shooting targets, not birds ect. Also, i think safety classes would be best so you can learn how to use it properly without getting hurt. Also, It is also safe since it comes with the safety goggles, Just NEVER use the gun without it. Also if you have younger kids around the house younger then you put it out of reach. :)
