Question:

Longboard bearings question?

I am putting on new abec 7 skateboard bearings. I cant tell if when first applied if they should have a little room to move back and forth or be completely isolated at first. I know when I took my other wheels off they had room to move back and forth

Answer:

Little room i try to keep them even not to mcuh or your have troubel trunring snd axle slip
Well u probably want them so they move a little man. Because ur others moved a little and i skateboard not longboard but i think bearings are so tight inside the wheel that u should put them so they move a little
the best solution for this is to get bearing spacers. they make it so you can lock down the bearings, and it's the bearings working, not the bearing itself spinning around the axle. if you don't have them, or can't get them, then leave as little room possible, just enough for the bearing to still spin, but as little side-to-side motion as you can get.
