clear quartz is the best all rounder rose quartz is best out of the two for healing but there are many other crystals with specific healing properties depending on the situation healingcrystals /healingprp.ht...

When wearing a Star Crystal with the Male side out, the Higher Self energy is drawn from within, amplified, and radiated out into the aura, making it so brilliant it can act as a shield. Wearing a Star Crystal with the Female side out draws energies from the environment, and amplifies and directs them into the body. Therefore, wearing it with Female side out would best be done only in a sacred place or in a positive/healing type of environment.
Well, there's gravitational energy, since it has mass. There's also electromagnetic energy, which keeps the molecules together. And there's the strong and weak nuclear forces which keep the atoms, themselves, together. Neither are very useful for healing someone, unless you could fashion a crude scalpel out of them. The material, itself, is fairly non-reactive and wouldn't be useful as a medicine. It's a stone, after all. There's not much difference between clear and rose quartz, except trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese. As far as general use, it is basically just silica, which could be purified to make electronics or just ground up for sand. I hear it is also popular in jewelry. Other than that, I don't know of any real use for it, perhaps a paperweight or something. Quartz also has piezoelectric properties, which make it useful in some electronics.
