My name is Justin Hart and I am a college student studying Robotics and I am working on a project for one of my classes that that will be using tank treads. I am building is a cart that will need to be able to carry up to 600lbs. I also would like it to be able to drive up stairs. The base of my cart will be 36-40 inches long and then in the front of the cart I would like the tread to angle up 35 degrees for 16 inches.
See if you can use the tracks off of a mini excavator, the are made by almost every company that makes heavy equipment, Caterpillar, Deere,ETC
