I got my braces on Monday and they haven't caused me any trouble up until now. I guess they put glue on each tooth where the brackets were suppose to go. So what happened was, I was just sitting here doing my homework and the bracket just popped up! I wasn't messing with it or anything. It's like, the bracket is still connected to the dried glue or whatever and is still intact put it's not on my tooth. Did I do anything wrong like brushing too hard? I just want to know what caused this. I'm going to the orthodontics first thing in the morning though.
You are fine. It's normal to pop a bracket now and again. They will recement it for you at no additional charge and it won't have any long term negative impact on your treatment
