I lost my T-Mobile phone when I was playing around with my phone and my friend's phone. She let me try out her old phone, so I could see if that was the phone I really wanted, you know? (She has an iPhone 4, the phone I want.) After that, we went out and I misplaced my phone. We can't find it anywhere and since I have the sim with me and not in the phone, we can't call the phone :( I wanted to know, if I go to T-Mobile and tell them these unfortunate events, will I get a new phone free since I have insurance? I asked one of my close friends what he did when his phone was lost and he said he had to pay $40 to get his new phone.Please and thank you!

It depends on your insurance policy. Usually it will only cover a certain amount, and there will be a deductible. Also, if the insurance is directly through T-Mobile, you may not be able to get an iPhone since they don't directly support or sell iPhones, but it wouldn't hurt to check.
