Question:

metal projects?

where can i find plans for some metal projects. it doesnt matter if it is thick stuff or sheet metal.

Answer:

practice. constantly be writing. even small portions of writing everyday will help. I was never always a writer, but I practiced and wrote everyday and now I can write in any genre. I'm mostly writing hardcore/screamo songs lately, but I can also write emo/acoustic. Also good influence for bands. Whenever I write like hardcore/screamo stuff I listen to bands like Bring Me the Horizon, The Devil Wears Prada, AFI, etc.. so good influences will help. They helped me.
making it faster seems to work for alot of the classic thrash bands so, up the tempo, unless it's a clear slow grinder a la stoner/doom metal
Just inspiration. Try to come up with good riffs or some themes, whichever first is okay. Since it's metal we're talking about the ideal themes should be like about protesting about something, like doing a backlash on the government(!), about death, about the end of the world, about war, about drugs(never take 'em), about faith. Then spending hours listening to metal numbers (I suggest listen to classic metal). Also, have in mind if your metal's approach is thrash, death metal, industrial, power metal, etc. so you will know what best suits you.
Some very exclusive portions then what one could as a rule play, as those songs are excited about development and character settling on, alternatively than chords and sensible riffs. Pendulous Skin- Mastodon (take it slowly, and little by little, or you'll be able to crush your self) Crack the Skye- Mastodon Divinations- Mastodon (lovely rough one) Oer Hell 'n Hide- Baroness Cockroach en Fleur- Baroness Have you discovered traditional harmonics? If no longer, check out- Samus Stardrive- Andy McKee Into the Ocean- Andy McKee
