strangely a sounds of death magazine from 1998 got me into metal i just saw all these kick *** bands so i check them out and since then ive been addicted to metal lol
Metalcore It's like hardcore with more metal influences, but it's generally not regarded as a true metal sub-genre.
Lamb of god is post thrash metal or we can say they as a metalcore band for sure. This band is an awesome band, they are killer. And i do not really understand why do people in this forum, say this band is suck, that band is suck. If you people are better than them, prove yourself, make a band and prove that your band are better than them.
I've got a couple answers for this one. 1. Who cares? Let's not go around labeling everything, that's for dorks and accountants. Let's instead spend every waking hour rocking the casbah. 2. Lamb of God is a sub-genre we call ***-Metal. It's like ***-Rock only metal. Some characteristics are: lack of originality stupid lyrics the singer sounds like he is vomiting the same guitar and drum line every song The only cure for ***-metal is some Mastodon or Killswitch Engage or Clutch or something. They do some screaming and some singing and some facemelting.
Hey to the idiot above me, Lamb of God do suck, but Killswitch Engage suck more. Lamb of God are currently being referred to as New Wave of American Heavy Metal (NWOAHM). Usually includes similarities to modern metalcore with some thrash influence. Also includes bands like Shadows Fall. Also, death metal and thrash metal are better so stick to those genres because LoG are really not good.
