Question:

michelin motorcycle tire question?

i have a Michelin pilot power 120-70-17 front on my bike. i was wondering if this tire is a soft, medium or a multi compound?? anyone know this tire well?

Answer:

get the yoshi slipons you don't need the full system.it will save you a little weight thats it. get the pc3 you will need it don't waste your money on a full system.put that money into sprockets 2 up in the back thats all you need.
your probably better keeping standard, Suzuki will have spent thousands of man hours yen creating the best all round pipes so if a small company say theirs gives you 5 more horses on the top end you can bet they took 10 from somewhere else then you will want to jet it have it rolling roaded with a gas analiser so it is not week anywhere,if you are hell bent on putting new pipes on see if their is a owners club ask them their opinion,i would have thought it would have had more than enough power, glynn
A full Yoshi system with a power commander 5, needs setting up on a dyno though, ive seen the dyno chart before and after, nearly 20hp added in the mid range and just under 10hp overall
A Michelin Pilot Powers are one compound. I cannot say if yours are a soft or medium compound. If it was a multi-compound Michelin it would have been a 2CT
