It's not a real story. Kind of like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Make-believe. Fiction. Imaginary.
Just fiction. There is always a way to get the bike to slow down. Just hitting the kill switch or turning off the ignition will slow down the bike in a hurry. Brakes are separate and not dependent on the engine running to operate. Can't imagine being able to remove my helmet while trying to control a runaway motorcycle to hand it to a passenger. Event didn't happen.
