Question:

Motorcycle Tire Bead Breaking Lubercant recommendations.?

I ran into the most stubborn tire last night when trying to break the bead with tire irons. So overnight I sprayed one area with silicone, one with basic G and poured Marvel mystery oil on another. This morning it broke lose where the Mystery oil was used. 30 years ago we used brake fluid as a lubercant. Anyone know anything that works better ?And please hold your comments take it to a pro with a machine.

Answer:

I use a big C-clamp and WD-40.
i change tires for a living i use tire lube or soapy water less so much on the water an dmost motor cycle tires i just use a screw driver and twist it to break bead or a you can use a big c clamp or a tire hammer seem like you got it done really so really you got what you need but now tire has oil on it right and might not to use that tire any more i use tire lube
This is the reason, the tire pressure is much too high! You should remove some air immediately. My truck has large 33 inch tires and I only have 38 psi in them.
I use talc. powder as it is less messy and a proper bead breaker to reduce rim damage. In really stubborn cases dishwashing liquid and a rubber hammer.
