my alarm worked since i got the car and out of no where my alarm wont work no more. i change the battery on my remote still noting. the car battery is brand new just put in. anyone know what could be the problem? and how much it could cost to fix it.
No, you cannot power anything other than the fire alarm system from its power supply. You need to use relays to isolate the fire alarm system wiring from other building wiring. Reasoning includes that if the other guys wiring gets grounded, or picks up another voltage somewhere, it can have a negative effect on the fire alarm system. In addition, the additional load would shorten the standby power time.
