I live in an apartment and they recently put doors at both of the entrances to the property to ensure “security”. Because of the gates, they also put speed bumps in. My mom is disabled and she uses a wheelchair. When she tries to go over the speed bumps (no sidewalk or anything, she has to if she wants to leave) she was jerked and almost fell off the wheel chair, even though she had her seat belt on and she went over the least high part and there weren’t any cars around. Now my mom can’t leave the apartments without someone being with her. This is really limiting her mobility as I go to high school and now she can’t leave home until I get home. I’m going to talk to them but want to have some info about the rights. Is there any law saying that its illegal?Ps. I live in ohio, usaThanks!pps. sorry if i m posting this in the wrong place
Smok detectors also react to fumes-no smoke and no flame(fire) and I found that out when I used my self clean oven for the first time-had to open the windows -I could smell the fumes from the oven but saw no smoke. Perhaps there is a similar situation in your house -there is a reason that needs to be found-open your windows,doors and check your entire house also for any Not Usual Smells or check the outside to make sure something not burning outside . If after you have ventilated your house and still the smoke alarms do not shut off and there has been no break in the electricity-if wired alarms, then WITHOUT calling 911-call the regular firestation no nearest to you or the regular police no -explain your situation and they would be the ones MOst Knowledgeable on advising you .
Yes, I use an electric blanket. No, I am not worried about starting a fire.
I have one and I don't worry about the fire part too much, as long as it is turned off after use. I mainly wonder how to clean it.
