Question:

My Car Makes Noise(creeks) and some what bounces when i go over a bump?

My car is a Ford Taurus 2001, when i go over bumps in the road or speed bumps it creeks a little and seems to jump a little more than it should. would this be a sign that i probably need to purchase some new shocks or is it something else?

Answer:

Odds are that the detector was probably placed there for engineering reasons. You do not want to move a smoke detector off of the ceiling or high on the wall. This is where smoke migrates during a fire. If this detector is interconnected with others you may want to see about an alternative such as remote battery power for all smoke detectors in the house. I would consult a fire protection company. If this was installed by a fire protection company you should call that one first for information.

Newer masks out there are more form fitting. The best one for the smallest profile is called (fittingly) VForce Profilers. I use them exclusively as they fit my face extremely well, they are light weight and I often forget I'm wearing it even in the staging area (I usually remember when I go to light a smoke and end up hitting the mask). Of course there are still others out there that have larger face shields but the choices are greater now than they ever have been.
