i started backing out of my garage and something sounded like it poped then lots of steam started coming out and water was on the ground on the right side of the car non on the left and the water pump needle in my car is all the way to the red can some one help me
That is your temperature gauge that shot all the way up. Sounds like you blew a hose. Open the hood on your car and see if you can find where the coolant is leaking from. If you find a hose that is ruptured, replace it and refill/bleed the cooling system.
everytime you spill on your computing gadget you need to right this moment turn it off, unplug it, take out the battery and permit it dry for each week. reckoning on how your computing gadget is outfitted you are going to be waiting to get rid of the keyboard without entering your computing gadget. in case you're able to do it, i could recommend that. If no longer, in basic terms depart them be.
need new water pump if that is where it leaked from but most likely the hose blew on it check it out before water pump
The neeedle is not the water pump. It is the temper of the water. If it go to the red you stop driving the car and turn off the engine. Most like the T-stat stuck close and did not open up to cool the engine. It takes up to five minutes to over heat the engine and the steam to build up and blow a hose apart. If you had to add water because of a leak. Should had it check out. Or the temper gage was going pass half way. It a water leak or a bad T-stat. Is not something you want to put off. Icould be the water pump you head pop if it had a metal sound. The car cannot be drove unless you want to burn up the engine It needs to be tow to a Shop for skill mechanices to check it out.
your car was almost out of water t overheated and blew a hose. You need to find out what is leaking the coolant out and fix it. You did not mention the year make or model so there is little we can advise. Many cars have a weep hole on the botton of the water pump and when the seal breaks this is usually because the bearing in the water pump is worn. Put in a new pump and inspect all heater hoses and radiator hoses replace the thermostat and then add coolant. Be sure to open the heater core so no air bubbles block the system.. leave the radiator cap off and let the car warm up good so the thermostat opens and coolant starts to curculate rev the enging slowly several times to work out any air fill the system (replace radiator cap with a new one too) put new cap on and drive around for about ten minutes and park the car. Let it cool so that any coolant needed gets sucked in through the pressure cap. Refill overflow bottle as necessary.
