today during gym my cell phone was stolen from the locker room. Lockerroom was looked, but somebody managed to take apart the lock on the door and opened it. Anyway 10 dollars and my 400 dollars cell phone was stolen. Coach gathered all guys in the locker room and scared everybody that whoever did that is better to return the phone, or he'll cal the cops. Than he walked me out of the locker room and said that cops won't look for my cell phone because i'm noot allowed to have it with me at school. After that he said that everybody can go the class and took me to the school officer. All the officer did was just collecting my data, cell phone model and it's price. He told me that there nothink he can do about ( they have ******* survelance cams everywhere, but video doesn't get recorded!!! what for they need them?!!!!!) i bought my phone on (unlocked) so my cingular phone insyrance won't cover it. Anybody please give me an advice - i don't know what to do. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Answer:

Isolate which detector may be doing it. Did you buy the same brand and simply plug it into the same connector without touching the wires? There may be a loose connection at the splice or at the interface plug to the detector. Each detector Should have 4 wires in the box (and 4 leaving to the next one) Ground, white black and red. The grounds get tied up together. The black is hot, white neutral and the red should carry the interconnect to each one. Check the wire and the wire nuts with the power off. Hold the wire nut, and tug at each wire to make sure none are loose. Since you have the same problem with brand new units it's likely a loose connection at the wire nut or the interface plug.
You can use System Restore, this will take your computer back a few days or more to before these problems started to happen then you computer would be alright. Go to Start Control Panel a window will open up, look for System Restore, click on that and follow directions. This will replace all that you had lost. Good Luck.
then go to control panel and click on display tab.
