Has to be unloaded and stored in a locked container to be transported by car. If your glove compartment locks with a key and the gun is unloaded, you can do that. Obviously that greatly reduces it's usefulness.
Underneath the dash you should find a very small red button(it is hard to find, but usually under the drivers side). Push and hold it in for 5 seconds. This should disable the system.
