Question:

My hamster falls out of his wheel.?

When hes running on his wheel, he apparantly goes a little to fast and when he tries to slow down the wheel is still spinning, so he goes spinning around with the wheel till he is flung out onto the floor. He apparently doesnt learn, and gets right back up to run again.

Answer:

Honestly, being a big Dman, i would suggestion any easton (besides mako). They have wicked snapshots, are pretty inexpensive, are light, and durable. If you played forward i would say bauer, but get an easton man
I prefer the warrior bandito
Is he a roboski hamster? I've heard they love to do that. I wouldn't take his wheel out, hamsters love their wheels. Especially at night! Maybe If you blew on him a little he would stop. :) Enjoy Your Critter
I had a hamster who did this. I guess its alright. She went on to live for 3 years. I did not attempt to remove the wheel. They just have these little quirks.
Do not do as another poster suggested and remove the wheel. Hamsters NEED a wheel - in th wild they run 5+ miles a night. The wheel is the best substitute for that. Chances are our hamster can't actually build up enough speed to fling himself off hard enough to cause injury. It's probably more like a little kid purposely jumping off a swing over and over. If it appears that it's more than that, you could switch to a wheel with more of an enclosed design - woodent wheel is one manufacturer. Whatever you do, removing a wheel from a healthy hamsters cage would not be an appropiate course of action. Things like recovering from broken limbs and newborn pups are reasons not to have a wheel in the cage.
