Question:

My horse has the softest mouth in the world!?! ?

She will not take any bits. She is 6 months off the track and was retired to solitary confinement in a field and long forgotten until about a month ago. Now we are working together but she won't even take a racing rubber bit without expressing her irritation at something in the mouth. It is not in my preference to use a bitless bridle. I have used copper snaffles and even bits with copper rollers and minimal tongue pressure. She is so adamant about not feeling any kind of pressure in her mouth she would tuck her nose in to touch her chest if I let her. What can I do? I found one bit she will take during a lunge but I'm not sure what it is. A friend let me use it because she said it was the only thing her OTTB would take after racing bits. Thanks guys!

Answer:

Yeah once, for swimming class. :) I was 10 and they wanted us to know what it would be like if you really fell into the water and had to swim your way to safety. :O
Yes many times, especially when I was really hot and didn't feel like changing lol. Then one time i fell out of a boat, and the water was really deep. My clothes were too heavy and they were pulling me down to the bottom of the ocean (mostly because of my shoes). I almost drowned. I didn't like wearing clothes in water too much after that.
The smell of gas is not good. Get someone in there right away. You may have a leaky pipe. You don't want to take chances with gas. This is NOT NORMAL! Actually, none of it sounds normal. You get out and get right people in.
show her by turning off your game when she comes over. Even if the girl says it's okay, she doesn't really mean that. She comes over to spend some time with you, not to watch you like a stocker.
Yes. When I jumped from my roof to the pool I was wearing clothing.
