My left windshield wiper is not working. However, the right windshield wiper works still. The left one tries to move but does not go up the whole way. It just inches up and then falls back down. Anyone got any advice.Helplol
Here, ill try without beiing RUDE, lol I see this all the time. You really should try to make sure the blades are not frozen to the glass before turning them on. This is THE reason for this Sometimes you can open the cap on the wiper arm and tighten the nut down In other cases, you have torn up the splines on the tapered output shaft in which the wiper arm bolts to. In many cases the entire arm may need to be replaced. But I have repaired them by using a small piece of metal, in the taper between the wiper arm, and the shaft it bolts down to. Even a small piece of paper clip may work, you'll see what I mean when you take the wiper arm off, if just tightening the nut does not work.
you probably stripped the thread that attaches the wiper arm onto the linkage to the wiper motor. you may nicely be fortunate adequate nevertheless in case you will get rid of the nut that attaches the wiper arm on your automobile, carry off the wiper arm and reattach it some tooth over on the spline and reattach the nut and tighten it stable. stable success.
at base of wiper arm is cover/turn wipers off/relax arm to align with the windshield base/snap cover up/take appropriate wrench to bolt/ either 10 mm or 13 mm and secure bolt by turning clockwise/hold wiper arm to base line and when tight snap cover back in place
