i put the computer in safe mode and the administrative account came up! so i logged on to it, control panel was there, i tried to access user accounts but it was still restricted! then control panel disapeared from the start menu!!!

It depends on the type of alarm you have. If you have a smoke/carbon monoxide alarm, you may have had levels of carbon monoxide get to high in your home. Carbon Monoxide is an invisible, odorless gas that is deadly. Not something to be messing with. A beep every 30-60 seconds, usually means the battery needs to be replaced. Most take a 9volt battery. If you can not figure out what is wrong, you can call the non emergency number for the fire department, and they can send someone out there to make sure you do not have carbon monoxide, and help fix the situation.
