Question:

My road in my neighborhood uses &metal poles& as speed bumps. Is this allowed? It is going to damage my car.

My neighborhood is using metal poles as speed bumps. I believe over time it will damage my car. It is also on a gravel/dirt road to begin with, and now they use these speed poles. It is a little ridiculous. Does this violate some kind of road regulations? They were supposed to pave the road a few months ago but didn't because they decided they didn't want to fund it. What should I do? It is very annoying, to have to drive a 1/4 mile into my neighborhood going over 3-4 of these things and going the speed limit of 10 MPH.Any help is appreciated!

Answer:

if you have a carbon detector then I would tell your landlord that you want a qualified technition to check out the stove to determine if co is being given out. or if you have a regular smoke detector then tell your land lord to have the gas comp. to test the stove for leaks.
I sometimes drive in some mobile home parks with them. I noticed there is about a foot between the curb and the start of the bump. If you drive with one wheel in that open area, you can drive at about double the speed that you'd have to with both wheels going over the bump.
Unnecessary fretting. Millions use an oven daily. Smoke detector is either too close to the stove or the oven needs cleaning.
