My smoke detector deeping even though I took off the old battery! Why?
Electronics engineers still work with resistors, capacitors and IC's. They typically integrate components that are designed by electrical engineers to make electronics. For instance, an electrical engineer may design a component that can detect carbon monoxide, while the electronics engineer will design the smoke detector that utilizes the carbon monoxide component and other components like an LED light, perhaps an LCD screen, a heat detectoretc. The electronics engineer may still have to incorporate resistors, capacitors, inductors, transformersetc.
