I have a 2001 silverado ext. cab i really just want to oil the hell out of the under of my truck and see how that works out.. im really hoping its not going to cause a big problem and cost me some major cash. any advice works. thanks

My city not a problem. For police just ask to see the desk sergeant who will ask officers if it is OK with them. Same with FD, just go into a station, ask to see the lieutenant or captain and it is never a problem. Most cites it is little trouble for FD. Some cities block people from actually talking to anyone except behind bullet proof glass, at a police station. My cities 23 stations purposely have an open plan. All you can do is ask. No one is going to shoot you or turn a fire hose on you for asking.
