Question:

My vb application is trying to access the internet?

My new vb applicatioin is a simple anti virus, it watches processes and the file system. But I have, installed on my computer, a program called Zone Alarm by Checkpoint. It blocks IPs and is basically a extra firewall. But anyway, it pops up with a dialog asking about applications accessing the internet in and out. And while I was debugging my application one of there pop upscame up and said that my application was trying to access:ip 127.0.0.1:49987Outgoing(Connect)Destination DNS: LoopbackAll I want to know, out of curiosity, is why it is accessing the internet if I don't have any code to access the internet at all.

Answer:

Well, considering it is more than just the actual physical act of the pulling the alarm, yes. There is the false alarm charge. Then the charges stemming from creating a panic in others, and a few other charges. So you would probably end up with a felony on your record unless you get a good attorney. And you would have to pay for the cost of the fire dept's time. And court costs. And fines. And an attorney. And probation fees. And whatever else. Not really worth it.
yes, you would be charged with inducing panic
Probably not, but I wouldn't put it past you that you'd have to spend some time doing community service if you pull the fire alarm.
You might try cleaning the detectors, check to see if there is a reset button, after you put the batteries in push the test button. The dust may be affecting them, good luck.
Nope. The Continuity Equation says the mass rate at the entry point is the same as that in the exit point. Since the change in diameter occured only in between the entry exit point, then the velocity remains unchanged at the exit point.
