So you want to change the rear axle in your 02 blazer, but you lost the tag on yours, so you are not sure what the ratio is.there are only 3 axle varients available, 3.42:1, 3.73:1 and 4.10:1. So you will need to find out the gear ratio if you buy one from the junk yard, however you can actually come very close to the correct ratio by other means: 1. Check the front axle, it may have the tag, they will be the same 2. find the build sheet, usually in the glove compartment stuck to the inside of the door, it will give you a code for the axle ratio, and whether it is a positraction, or not 3. If those don't work, try to match the turns of the wheel with the turns of the drive shaft, there will be 3.42 turns of the drive shaft for every turn of the heel, and so on for the other ratios. 4. Tear down the rear end and count the teeth on the ring and on the pinion. Good luck compadre.
