Answer:

Ok first I want to say that I am not trying to be judgmental at all, I am just going to share from personal experience. I do understand what you are going through my son is also six and a half and wets the bed. We recently started some medication about a month ago. With the meds and us waking him up once during the night he is making progress. Now to the alarm. My husband and my sister were both bed wetters into their teens and both used the alarm. Both of them absolutely detested it, it didn't work for either one. My husband still will not wake up to an alarm, I think in reflex from that awful thing! with my sister it would wake up the whole house and she would be crying it was so loud and now the whole house could here when she wet the bed. Nine times out of ten a wetting problem is not a bladder issue but a sleeping one. I was very anti meds but my husband having been through bed wetting really wanted to try something so he didn't go through it as long as him. You can try if you want, but don't push it..there are so many options out there even new meds since my husbands day.
i think that you have too much time on you hands/take out the traffic lights too/ and what about that keep to the side of the white line//just think of all that paint going into the atmosphere//and we can save money on traffic cops//and their cop cars with the pollutants /plus get rid of the traffic court people/ and all those signs warning and speed limit/ recycle the whole load
have you tried waking him up every two hours to void whether or not he has to? (in addition to the alarm)
all i can say is YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my son was 8 when we used one. it took about two weeks, he's almost 10 now and he's had maybe 3 accidents spaced several months apart. my other son is 4 1/2 and i'm probably going to use it on him too; i just think he might still be alittle too young.
never tryed a bed wetting alarm but my mom had that problem with my brother and she wouldn't let him drink a hour before bed and they say when they have to go pee if they hold it for a few seconds that it makes there blatter bigger not sure if that's true or not but you have to be careful to holding your pee for to long can increase your chances of getting a blatter infection good luck
