Answer:

the technique to use is use all your fingers. meaning keep your index finger and middle finger availible for brake useand the two other fingers for throttle use ONLY. practice with the bike off just using the two fingers for the brake and then all of them for the throttle. Go from throttle then quickly to brake with just the two fingers then back to throttle with all ( again, again, etc) then practice at a speed where you don't have to worry about shifting. get to a speed in hi rpm's then brake quickly to bring the rpm' s to the low end. I HIGHLY recommend the MSF course. Good luck! happy motorcycling!
New riders tend to be very tense with everything they do. You squeeze the tank with your thighs, put all your weight on your arms causing them to tire out quickly and you grip the throttle too hard. Me personally I only use two or three fingers to brake and clutch. Just relax and pay attention to what you're doing.
I never had this problem (riding since 1983). I suspect it is some bad habit you picked up. Just practice (with engine off), getting off the throttle and applying the brake. Just like tennis lesson where you practice back hand over and over again, if you do it enough times with the engine off, your muscle memory will kick in when you are riding. Good Luck.
TBH if you don't know anything about installing parts on it just go to a shop or search Craigslist if your in the U.S and find someone cheap. Asking for info on here about it could get you the wrong answer potentially.
Actually there are plenty of good mechanics willing to talk about preformance Exhaust. Most cat converter back systems by Borla, Banks, Greedy, Stillen Or flow master will not effect the cars emissions or O2 sensors in any way. I have to caution you just hacking and welding in a glas pack will make the truck noiser but not make much in the way of power. I suggest you start pricing a really good mandrel bent stainless steel life time warranty exhaust system. Also V-6 motors really make weird noises at different RPM's Only the really good systems will have the deep exhaust tone. And not sound like a weed eater or your friend's Honda.
