I already know manowar and church of metal but id appreciate knowing as many true metal bands as possible thanks =)
all non metals form acids when they are treated with water.metals form bases .gold does not reacts to form acids.sodium tend to be more reactive with acids.
The most reactive metals are those from the first and second group of the periodic table. Most of the transitional metals also react, but some of them not (gold, platinum, mercury). The ability of metals to replace hydrogen in acids forming salts is one of the periodic properties of elements.
The general formula for an metal reacting with an acid is: Acid+Metal--> Salt + Hydrogen Gas. The more reactive the metal; the more reactive it is with an acid. E.g. Reactive metals include sodium, potassium, aluminum, magnesium. The least active metals don't react with acids e.g. Gold, silver, platinum. However when looking at which metals will react or won't react; the strength of the acid is an important consideration i.e. a metal will tend to be more reactive with a stronger acid than a weaker one.
