Question:

Neighbor's fire alarm..going off for 5 HOURS!?

Ok I live in an condo and the walls are apparently pretty thin. My neighbor's fire alarm started going off at 4 this morning. It's not the low battery beep, it's full blown going off. It is now 5 hours later and it's still going off! I have not been able to fall back asleep. Obviously no one over there is home. I tried calling the management office, but of course they're closed on a Sunday. What can I do?? This is out of control and I'm starting to go crazy!

Answer:

that knob is called a valve, depending on the size of the pipe. usually 1/2 inch or 3/4. the bigger costs more. then you have to buy glue and primer. the primer is usually purple. it goes on the pipes to be fit together then the glue.they cost about 8-13 dollars. the pipe pretty cheap maybe around 10-15 dollars. then you will need couplers they are like sleeves that connect the straight pieces of pipe.they are like 30 cents a piece usually need 2 for each end. cut pipe straight where it is broken with a hacksaw. cut new pipe that is going in to length and put primer on the end of thepipe (only 1 inch turn purple) and coupler (the inside) then when you have it all ready glue everything together, make sure everything is gonna fit together first, only have one shot.
the fat on your belly it holds it in so it isnt floppn around for everyone to see
they control men from having Quickies !
Begin by contacting your local neighborhood council office. This is an office specifically located in the city you reside in, that handles neighborhood issues in your area. These issues can include requests for speed bumps to quality of life issues. For example, I live in a city in California called Reseda. I would contact the Reseda Neighborhood Council Office for such a request. The council office should be able to either provide you with a form that you may need to circulate amongst your neighbors on your block for signatures, or the proper office you would need to contact to begin the request. If you get the form and have all the signatures, then the form is submitted to the City for review and consideration. If you are unsure if you have a neighborhood council office, then contact either your local police station, or the office of your councilman for your city. They should assist you. You may also want to look into attending monthly neighborhood watch meetings in your area. They are very informative and it gives you a chance to meet the senior lead officers that handle crime on your city streets and on your specific block. Again, your local police station can provide you with that information, or your local city council office. As far as the speed bumps are concerned, It may be a process that you have to go through. The city has to determine if there is a need for the speed bumps on your street due to the cost. Unfortunately, it often happens that someone has to be hit by a speeding car first which results in a death, before they will take serious action. I think it's great that you are looking out for yourself, your family, and neighbors and your community. We need more upstanding individuals like you in this world. I do wish you the best of luck and I thank you. I hope I was of help to you.
They control anything that wants to jiggle when we walk. Gettin' Jiggy Widdit was a coool song, but we don't need to demonstrate it while walking around. They also keep us from getting varicose veins that come from wearing the heels men love to see so much, among other things. Hose is correct, whether you're talking about 1 pair, or 50. It's kinda like the word, sheep, and lets you know we're not discussing what several fire departments may have used to put out a few blazes. Great question, and see? We're not confusing! Lol
