Question:

New A/C or can they fix the white spots and deposits that *could* cause a crack?

I have a renter in my old house. A/C worked fine, but needed 2 new fuses. However, when the guy was out, he told my renter (THEN me) that the unit is old and *could* *possibly* have a crack in (something I don't remember). He suggested a new A/C and pushed hard for this. But I don't want to spend 5K for a possibility just because the unit is 15 years old. I don't have that to spend! He told me that there are white deposits that indicate something could break and leak carbon monoxide into the house??!!!??? What is he talking about? I thought A/C's couldn't do that. Anyway, can you give me your experience with this? Can it be rectified for a couple years until we can afford to buy a new one? We are getting a second opinion on Saturday, but any info can help us.

Answer:

since you're paranoid about carbon monoxide, which is not something everyoneeee is aware of, you should get both.
Yeah. I can listen to music as loud as I want and I think they're relaxing. BQ: Yes. It's hard to explain, but you have to trigger the lock part. You just slide it in, above the lock, and slide it down, kind of jiggling it back and forthyou just have to try it. BQ: Watermelon
Yes I bring my iPod and listen to music too. :) BQ- No, I'm not smart enough to do that. BQ2- I love apples too. We have a lot in common! Aren't you Aurora's sister? Hehe That's so cool!!!
sometimes BQ: No BQ: Red Apples so yummy
As long as I have music, I love car rides. 1) No clue. I generally use keys. 2) Pomegranates, oranges, and purple grapes
