It's hard to nail down the cause from your question, but I am going to assume that you are referring to water spots manifesting on your ceiling in various locationsHaving spent a good many years in the a/c biz, and more hours than I like to remember in attics, I am very familiar with this condition The air traveling through your a/c ducts starts out below 60 degreesYour attic may have temperatures as high as 160 degrees in the middle of the summerIf there is any leak or defect in the insulation surrounding the duct, you will have cold, dry air meeting hot, wet, air and that equals condensation Given the fact that your roof required replacement, my guess is your ducts are at the end of their life-cycle as wellThere is no certainty that this is your problem, but it would be worthwhile to have a reliable a/c company that specializes in ductwork to have a look, as well as check your equipment for problems that may be contributing to the condensation; like a dirty evaporator coil or plugged filter.
