Question:

Nintendo WiFi USB Connector and Windows Vista?

I have windows vista (64 bit). Does anyone know how to get it to work?

Answer:

Come on guy, use the internet. call into Nintendo or use their help web site. you will get me in case you call. yet because of the fact which you're too lazy to fairly seek your self, the respond is what's the Nintendo USB Connector? The Nintendo wireless USB Connector is a Nintendo-dedicated on the spot get admission to element that plugs into the USB port on a notebook (abode windows XP or abode windows Vista* purely). *with a view to artwork with abode windows Vista, you may desire to have version a million.06 or larger of the Nintendo wireless USB Connector utility. click here to get carry of the main contemporary version. it is straight away from the Nintendo web site.
I'm afraid that, to the best of my knowledge, there is no direct way to get it to work under Vista x64. I actually use a ASUS WL-167g adaptor where the drivers have been hacked so as to emulate a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector (both devices use a chip from the same family). As 64-bit drivers are available for this device, there is a slim chance that these drivers could be hacked in the same manner. Even if that were possible, there is still a distinct likelihood that the Nintendo software itself might not co-operate with the device. Unfortunately, my desktop does not have a 64-bit capable chip so I'm not in a position to try it.
