Ours had a short lived fear of windshield wipers when she was a puppy. Every time those things moved, she'd jump and growl at them. These days she's still pretty neurotic but she's mostly just afraid of appliances. You just never know when the refrigerator is going to click on and attack so it's best to just avoid it altogether, right?
My dog is a Yorkie so naturally he thinks he's all big bad. The only thing I've ever seen him afraid of is the vacuum. That he always has a tendency to run away from grown men until he gets to know them. 3
the typical things that dogs are suppose to like and chase my friend's dog is afraid of. fire hydrand is one of them, the dog dog just stood there growling at the hydrant. He rolled over on it's back when a cat hissed at him too. and this is a big dog i'm talking about -_-
I think I'm mechanically inclined when I can change a light bulb by myself. However, I'm married to an ex-pipefitter and have listened to his work-related stories enough to know you're begging for trouble whenever you change pipe sizes. If you go from large to small, its guaranteed to cause clogs. And if you go from small to large, you're guaranteed to wear away the pipe quickly, causing major problems in unexpected places. Not this year, maybe not even next year, but a lot sooner than you can imagine.
e.you hugged a fire hydrant, lol that should be the stupid things people do to have their dog overcome its fears. lmao My dog is terrified of gunshots, although who wouldn't be, right? My one neighbor would call us before he started shooting, kinda giving us a heads up and we would usually go for a walk or go to the lake with the dogs. But, my other neighbors are inconsiderate and have been know to empty semi-automatic weapons without warning, when this happens and my dog starts trembling the best way to pull her out of her fear is to start scratching her back end, that's the spot, she quickly focus's on the scratching, even kicking the air with her back foot. If we don't stop scratching then she is in her own zone..but as soon as we stop she resorts into fear, listening for the shot fired waiting to be scared. Luckily those gun totting rebels have moved and we haven't had to much of a problem. When my dogs show fear of something, I don't find it cute or funny. I gain my dogs trust and teach my dog thats there's nothing to be afraid of.
