Answer:

Phobia is usually treated by what's called exposureThe idea is learning to be calm while you're exposed to a mildly disturbing stimulus, then learning to be calm while you're exposed to a slightly more disturbing stimulus, etc., till you reach a desired goalA common method of relaxation is slow, deep breathingYou could start with still photos of elevators or cartoons of elevatorsWork your way up a list of increasingly challenging itemsAt first you might take a trip from 1st floor to the 2nd Your goal would be I think using it for top floor of a skyscraper.
erythromelagia .I have it in the handsIt is worse at nightI use a cooling tape around my wrists and a chillow under my pillowEven then I still have times when I cannot sleepElevating sometimes helps, tooTry not to use ice, as it can damage your skinAvoiding the heat, limiting exercise, and no alcohol helpI am on gabapentin and it helps with the burning pain, however the redness and swelling continueGood luck.
I have the exact same problemtry drinking more water through the dayNOT TAP water thoughspring water is your best bet, less chemicalsI also have to put lotion on my hands and feet t bed timetry one that has something soothing in it like peppermint, spearmint or lavender and chamomile (look at bath and body works for something that will help)
You may have an allergy to somethingI get that when I eat celery/bannanas and sometimes watermelonif there is something that you always eat or otherwise ingest before bed try not doing it and see if that changes anythingIf not you might see a docwhich I am definetly notAnyway good luck.
