has it ever occured to you alot of old ww2 films from 40s-70's were well.not AUTHENTICim talking like movies like battle of the bulge, devils brigade, To hell and back-even though that had a good story.Bridge on the River Qwai or however you spell it, the Japanese in it had sten guns and vickers machine guns.not exactly true there eitherMovies that arent authentic get on my nervessome people don't care, or maybe they don't even know that the vehicles and equipment used in movies are american??? Who knows but id have to say prolly some of the more authentic movies in those period were Battle of Britain, Bridge at Remagen, The Great Escape, Where Eagles Dare.and so forthlet me know if theres any other reall good authentic movies from those time periodscause im trying to find some that have german/japanese/italian equipment.oh and also i have already seen von ryans express, tora tora tora, cross of iron, the eagles have landed.so cross those off the list.
