Origin of Volvo excavator
In China, Volvo construction equipment (China) Co., Ltd. was established in March 2002 and is headquartered in Shanghai. The new plant is located in Jinqiao Export Processing Zone, Shanghai, Pudong. It started production in March 2003.
At the beginning of production, crawler excavator was mainly produced.In 2007, Volvo building equipment company completed the Chinese engineering machinery enterprises - Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co (Shandong Lingong) 70% equity investment. So most of the machines are Shandong Lingong production.
