Question:

Parking ticket in new york?

Hi! I live in Montreal, Canada. I went to New York City last week and got 2 tickets. My car was parking 1,5 m from the fire hydrant what I thought it is ok like I normally park in Montreal. Then when I came back, I saw 2 tickets on my car. One at 5 pm and one at 9 pm. Each one is $115. What I don't understand is why did I get 2 tickets? What if I don't pay those tickets? Do they know my address and will send me the letter? Will I have any trouble at the border when I go to NY State?

Answer:

All the stuff you've tried rarely does work. You might want to try a 'snake' (long metal flexible thing that basically shoves the stuff out of the way) If you can get the drain cover out/off, then using 1 Second Plumber works miracles. It's about $5 for a can that has 6 shots or so in it, but I'll never use anything else again.
There is an 'elbow' under the sink which can be unscrewed, removed and cleaned. That's what you probably need to do. But if you don't have the right tools for removing that 'elbow'. Then perhaps you should call the plumber, or buy the tools and try to do it yourself.
Your best option may be to remove the drain trap from the bottom of your sink and clean it out by hand. the drain trap is the loopty thing in your drain that can be removed by loosening the nuts.
copper does not frees and burst pipes,, the water freezes and causes the damage! of course,, copper is a better conductor and collector of cold and heat!! plastic is more of an insulator,, it takes longer to freeze the water inside and burst a pipe
This is what you do, with all those chemicals in the pipes, you want to think safety first Put on rubber gloves, safety glasses, take the P-trap off (the U part of the pipes under the sink) With channel locks or pipe wrench. Check the P-trap for blockage (that's where grease and hair builds up at). If there is no blockage there, then rent or buy a snake with a 1/4 cable on it (anything bigger will be too tight for the pipe size) at least 25' long. Snake the pipe out that goes into the wall. That should work, if it doesn't then you will have to go up to the roof and snake out the vent pipe. Just remember all the chemicals that you poured in there is just sitting there and it can BURN you if it gets on you, that's why I say SAFETY FIRST!!!!! Other option is get a plumber for $75 -$150 hr. GOOD LUCK
