Ok.I live in Minnesota. There‘s a pond in my back yard and there are about 50 red-eared slider turtles there. One laid eggs in my yard and I pulled them out of the ground because birds were digging them up and eating them. Does anyone know what I can do to make these things hatch?
buy an incubator or make one(idont know how, you should look it up online) and keep the eggs in it at the breeder perfered temp.and watch them. when they hatch you should let them back into the pond if you dont plan on keeping them. Look up red eared slider breeder websites and email or call them and ask them and tell them about your predicament. they can help you the most.(also if the eggs are yellow they are infertle and dont roll the eggs it can kill the baby inside.and dont touch them with your hands because ive heard it can also kill the baby but im not sure)
If your car has brake drums on the rear instead of calipers, then your e brake could be sticking in the cable, or the drum internals may need adjusted.
Sounds like it could be a master cylinder, or locking up wheel bearings.
If you've already dug them out, you've probably already killed them by rotating them. Just in case you haven't, mark the tops with a felt-tipped marker and never move the eggs so the mark is anyplace but on top. Sanitize a plastic bag and line the bottom with barely-moist sphagnum moss or absorbent cotton. Place the bag on a plate or tray. Put the eggs in the bag and seal the opening. Put the whole mess in some area with a fairly constant temperature, such as the top of the refrigerator.
Carefully dig and remove the eggs and place them into a plastic container half filled with dampened vermiculite. Drill small holes in the lid of the container, then put the container in the incubator. It is very important to monitor the incubation process. Do not rotate the eggs. Make a small mark with a water-based marker on the egg before it is moved. Keep the temperature between 80° and 86° F (26°-30°C). To keep the vermiculite moistened, add some drops of water. The babies will hatch 60 - 75 days later. When they hatch they have an egg tooth that enable them to open the eggshell, this tooth will fall out on its own.
