Question:

pizza pan.?

I just bought a pizza pan for cooking frozen pizzas I noticed after I bought it it said 13in crispy pizza panIt was a real good price so I wont be taking it back sense I have a pizza waiting to be cooked in the freezerI'm wondering if that is what the holes are for To make it a little bit crispier Cause if that's the case I can just put it on the rack of the oven. What are the holes on the pizza pan for? If the pan is for a slightly crispier pizza can I use aluminum foil on the rack and then put the pan on top of the foil for a less crispy pizza?

Answer:

Yes to all of your questionsThe holes are for a crisper crustYou can just bake a pizza directly on the oven rack for a crispy crustYou can use foil (shiny side down) or a cookie sheet under your pan for a less crispy crustYou could have saved the price of a pizza pan by using a cookie sheet.
Aluminum foil will workA penny before 1983 is copperSince then they are copper plated zincSome general purpose, non-alkaline batteries have a zinc casing under the outer layerBrass buttons should work.
All can be purchased at a hardware storeCopper wire, brass fixtures and aluminum is easyZinc is found in paperclips so steal some from your teacherGet Magnesium tooAlso at the hardware store.
Aluminum foil is aluminum, so you are OK therePennies were made of 95% copper and 5% zinc from 1962 to 1982, so that should work, unless you need 100% copperNewer pennies are mostly zinc, with a thin coating of copper on themCanadian nickels were made of nickel from about 1962 to 1982A pre-1965 dime is 90% silver, if that is pure enough for youYou can get zinc coated nailsWheel balancing weights are lead (not sure how pure)Gold will be more of a problem :-) Hope that helps.
