Question:

Plastic shoes, easyboots, iron, steel, please look!?

My horse wears two front shoes. He goes lame on his fronts if he doesn't have horse shoes, but he goes bare on his backfeet. I am retireing him from his english riding career, and I am using him for trail riding only, and light dressage. I am wondering about winter riding- when it is snowy. Is it safe to ride with snow on the trails? I am worried my horse may step on like a rock covered by the snow or something and slip. Or ice. He has steel shoes (or iron?), meaning it's very slippery for him. should I put studs on him while out in the trails? If yeah, what kind? (road studs, grass studsect.). My horse always has front shoes on, so can you put an easyboot over top? I am wondering because he has shoes on, and that'd be slippery, but easy boots have rubber traction on them. Or would plastic shoes be better? Do most farriers offer them? I just read here that easy boots can go over shoes. Here is the link:

Nothing. He's one of God's creatures and also one of mine. What counts is on the inside, not the outside.
Like you say, it is very unlikely, but eventually one will be on course for us, it is only a matter of time. I think we are still in the very early stages of being able to detect and react to such a threat. Hopefully by 2036 we will be well on track with developing technology to defend our only home. One idea that I like is the use of focused solar energy, in which we would need to build huge lens in space, which when focused on the asteroid for enough time would deflect it off course.

I don't know which ones you know of, so how can I tell you the ones I know that may be new to you?
