How's the front brake lever sense? Is it pulsing on your hand once you pull on it? if so, sounds to me like a warped rotor.I in basic terms had this issue on my 03 Z1000. Swapped out rotors and the priority vanished. in case you will get the front wheel off the floor, supply it a healthful spin and hear it - no count number if that's dragging on one spot and not on yet another, then its the rotors.
