It is a crime, I do believe it is called false reporting Usually not serious of an offense for them to fingerprint the pull station. And to popular belief most fire alarm pull stations are nor rigged with dye. Only in areas where false alarms are very common. and BTW, why are you on yahoo answers saying how your friend pulled the fire alarm? do you want your friend to get caught?
pls, excuse my english, a very easy (and cheap) way to fabricate a working fire extinguisher is with a bottle of soda, it will extinguish any fire (not electrical fire) remove the cap of the bottle of soda, replace it with a cap from a shampoo or hands lotion bottle, shake it, aim, and shoot to your fire. hope it will help you in your school proyect.
not if there is a fire or suspected fire. if you thnk there is a fire pull the alarm and worry about it later.
