A couple things you should be aware of. Many candles will produce a black soot that will discolor the walls as well as everything in the room. Also, wicks for some candles contain a small thread of lead wire to give them rigidity. That lead burns into the air and is extremely toxic. So be careful what you burn!
first off u can test them with it on the vehicle with a heat detector gun. let engine be warm at normal temps then point gun at front of converter then the back. the front should be cooler and the back slightly hotter. a second form of test is with it on u use a pressure test gauge u unscrew the front oxygen sensor and screw in the gauge and rev it at 2500 rpm, the gauge shouldnt go above 2.5psi. and bare in mind u get some ppl that will manage to shove something thru catalytic converter when they clog up so its still there but not working at all so it might pass a pressure test yet it doesnt pass the heat test. also keep in mind that generaly it depends on the make year and model but it should have oxygen sensors and well they control air fuel mixture by sniffing the fumes and etc. but the rear sensor one of its objectives is to sniff fumes to tell the computer if the reading is different than the front oxygen sensor which tells the computer if its working or not. so basicly it could set a check engine light cause the readings are the same and its saying that ethier the catalytic converter isnt there reducing fumes like it should be or it isnt working properly. so means it is bad or bad sensor ethier way. then also a clogged catalytic converter robs horse power and effects gas mileage as well. u actualy get better horse power and gas mileage if u take it off but its illegal and very noisy and fummes . but still yet many people do. but then u got problems with oxygen sensors setting check engine lights and car not running right cause of the sensors are designed to work with the catalytic converter on
there is a gage on the fire extinguisher as soon as it is in the red it must stay in the green
