does anyone know how to get pop out of carpet I have tryed everyting and nothing seems to be working it is a lite colored carpet so you can see the brown stain the carpet is about 2 years old I have tryed the wax and iron and I have tryed the carpet cleaning stuff and nothing will take it out please help me
Try OxyClean. You mix some powder in water, soak the stain, and mop it up with paper towels. Good luck!
oxy clean might work. I use this stuff called awsome it gets out EVERYTHING including blood. You can find it at the dollar store its cheap but it works wonders.
I bought the Bissell Spotbot for myself for Christmas and I absolutely love it. I haven't had pop stains to try it on, but it's gotten out every other stain I've tried.
For a stain that set that long I recommend that you bite the bullet and rent a steamvac from a local gricery store. You can usually get one with cleaner for 24hrs for around $20-$30. Make sure you let it dry all the way. All that stickyness from the pop has probably attracted all kinds of stubborn dirt. Good Luck!!
Hi I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pour hot water (almost to the boiling point) on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time (this will open up the dye ports on the carpet fibre releasing the stain. and remove the residue from the carpet). If the stain is still visible than use a little carpet spotter on it or Dawn dishwashing liquid (2 or 3 drops into one cup of water) and repeat step 1. The stain may come back in a few days so you may have to do this a few times. Please DO NOT put anything on the carpet that was not made for carpet. At this point if the stain is still there please call a carpet cleaner. Carpet cleaner of 14 years
