Hi I have a Asus P5vd2-MX SE motherboard with a 24 pin connector. I bought a new power supply but I noticed it has a 20 pin connector. Can I connect it or do I need an adapter? Thanks
You need the 24 pin so you do need to buy an adaptor
Go ahead and use the connector. Its fully compatible
some motherboard are backwards compatible with 20 pin but you need to read the Manuel to be sure or else you could damage it. There are adapters so a 20 pin to 24 pin motherboard powersupply
