Question:

Pressed or loose powder?

I want to matte my face but don't want a heavy makeup look at all, and also don't want a product that will clog pores. Does anyone have any recommendations for powder that will make my face matte all day but not look noticeable? Also, which is better, loose or pressed?

Answer:

pressed
it doesnt really matter presed is much easier and more compact.
I find that it doesn't really matter which type of powder you use but the brand definitely counts. I use bare minerals loose foundation powder and physicians formula loose powder. A pressed powder that I sometimes use (and love) is cover girl!
You need a matte powder. It doesn't matter pressed or loose. I have embarrassingly oily soon and these translucent powders work for me: Jurlique Citrus Silk finishing powder for all day matte. Kind of pricey though at 36 dollars. Hard Candy Welcome Matte on a budget 6 dollars maybe a touch up or two. If you have oily skin properly cleanse exfoliate tone moisturize and use plain milk of magnesia before powder. Lemme know if you need skin care routine.
