Dear All,I am doing a research paper on cogeneration in the sugar industry. In my feasibility study, i need to find out the latest/actual prices of:1. A 65 bar boiler operating at 510 degrees centigrade and2. A 25MW steam turbine.Kindly let me know of the make of the equipment and possibly the manufacturer.References to the info is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Nick
I used to design heat recovery boilers for a while and, if my memory serves me right, at 65 bar and 510 C you're looking at a high-end IP (intermediate pressure) system or a low end HP (hig pressure system). Since it's only single stage, it should cost much less. Assuming you can get that kind of steam output from the gas turbine exhaust gas (ie. you won't need a burner), a very rough guess would be around $300k -$500k. The two largest companies that provide this type of equipment are Nooter/Eriksen and Deltak. As far as the turbine goes, that I'm not really sure of, but I'm guessing it would be in the same ballpark.
